Bin Lu
Senior Chinese Representative
Bin Lu serves as a senior representative in China. Originally from Hangzhou, Bin Lu has an international design background having studied under Zaha Hadid at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, die Angewandte and was awarded his master degree in architecture from the prestigious Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). In 2007, he won the school’s International Architecture Prize.
His ten years of design experience includes a variety of internationally renowned projects, including the San Francisco Bay Bridge Bus Terminal, Garak-Dong Wholesale Market in Korea, Forrest Place Public Artwork in Perth Australia, Flower Street Bioreactor in Los Angeles, Land Art Generator in Abu Dhabi, the Wuyishan Baixiang Resort, Hangzhou civic sports center and the Shenyang National Sports Center, which has been hailed as one of the most important sports buildings of the 12th National games of China. His works have been published internationally in a myriad of design publications. Before joining MCM, Bin was a Design Leader for the Hangzhou Jiangnan Architectural Design Co. from 2002 to 2007 and a Design Leader at RTKL’s Los Angeles office.
