PACE, a member of the MCM Group International, in collaboration with Schmidt-Curley Design, one of the world’s most active golf course design firms, will provide the schematic design for a 3.7 hectare water park in a 54-hole golf course at Stone Forest International Country Club near Kunming, China.

The water feature includes 300 meters of streams, ponds and waterfalls with a vertical elevation difference of 41 meters. The amount of water which was required to produce the breathtaking unique effect required over 900 cubic meters of water p/hour. The grading was coordinated with the architect in order to create a seamless integration with the natural landscape of the area.

“This is one of the most unique sites ever made available for golf,” said Michael C. Mitchell, CEO of MCM Group International. “Great care was taken to preserve the beautiful surroundings and dramatic elevation changes.”
