June 01, 2017, Qingdao, PRC. With the increasing demand for higher quality life, traditional children’s entertainment spaces are failing to satisfy the needs of parents and children. The innovation on the design concepts and the upgrade of the play methods have become a new heated topic. Designed by MCM Group International as part of the program upgrading efforts by Cangma Mountain Tourism Resort Zone, the Blueberry Town Children’s Discovery Park & VR Experience Center officially opened to the public.

MCM Group have utilized new technologies, materials and play ideas for the design of the space with vivid colors as basic tone. With different color mixes according to different themes, the design helps to enhance children’s perceptual skills and creativity in addition to improving the playability at the same time. In the aspect of the experience of the games, the design has set up facilities of different content and forms according to different age groups.

Moreover, MCM Group has tailor-designed the IP and the main character image for Blueberry Town Children’s Discovery Park. This offers more options for the project operation where the IP image can be applied in the products and the effective cultural publicity will be achieved.

The Blueberry Town Children’s Discovery Park consists of the following major experience zones:

It is a thematic experience combining digital interactive technologies and fairytale fantasies, targeting children from 1-16 and their families. With a wide coverage of target markets, the Wonderland is designed to also have F&B and retail areas themed around fairytales with thematic products such as books, audios/videos and toys.


Children’s Adventure Museum

It is an edutainment facility of the newest form in China with a focus on intelligence development and hands-on experience. Targeting children from 2-12 and their families, the Museum’s F&B and retail areas deal with products related to popular science and science education including books, audios/videos, and toys, etc..


VR Experience Center

The center is about the world-popular VR experience, which can easily generate news effects during publicity and promotion. Both children and adults are targeted markets. The supporting F&B and retail can center around digital and electronic products.


Interactive Sports Center

Themed around interactive sports recreation, the center puts focus on competitive and entertaining features. It targets both children and adults. Although the activities are indoors, the Center has utilized many new and fresh experience approaches through technologies, which enables visitors to experience the sports activities uncommonly available in everyday life. Sports-related products are also in place in supporting areas.
