MCM Group to Design Sustainable Community in Tianjin

MCM Group International will design “Fleur-de-Lys,” a French-styled community in Tianjin – one of the major economic centers in Northern China. Planned to be one of the most fashionable, sustainable and environmentally friendly mix-used communities in the world, Fleur-de-Lys will offer international elegance, ambiance and culture to the residents and visitors of Tianjin.

“This facility will provide unique residential, hospitality, and entertainment opportunities for residents and visitors alike, enabling people to indulge in a thrilling lifestyle experience that reflects one of Europe’s richest cultures,” adds Michael C. Mitchell, CEO of MCM Group International.

Inspired by Coco Chanel’s iconic phrase, ‘Fashion fades, only style remains forever,’’ the design, noted William Mount, lead designer for MCM Group International, “will give visitors an opportunity to actually ‘feel’ as if they are in Paris.”

The sites will be designed to reflect iconic landmarks in Paris. The Galeries Lafayette, for example, the legendary spot for shopping in Paris which flaunts unique Belle Époque architecture, is echoed in the planning and design of the “Galleria,” which is the heart of the Lifestyle Center, and sets a tone of quality and European sophistication that MCM Group intends to carry throughout the project. In addition to shopping and dining within the Fleur-de-Lys grounds, the community will also offer shows, leisure activities, European-style spas, interactive displays and art installations.
