August 26, 2015, Long Beach, CA. MCM received a BUILD Award for Best Community Planning Company as the result of the success of their design for Qingdao Cangma International Resort.
BUILD is a professional architecture magazine in Britain. The annual BUILD architecture awards is committed to finding and rewarding innovative design in the construction industry, technologies and services from all over the world. All projects are audited to ensure authenticity.
Planned by MCM Group, the Cangma project combines all aspects of design to create the concept of experiential living and traveling, thus strongly moving the judges to award MCM the Best Community Planning Company.
Located at center of Jiaonan County, Cangma Mountain Resort is north of Douyazi Reservoir, with Zhangjialou Town to its east, Dacun Town to the west, and Langya Town and Boli Town to south. The total planned area is 32 sm and represents an investment of over ten billion RMB.
After 7 years of design and construction, this project opened to the public in May 2015, and has had a commanding effect on surrounding tourism.
